Let’s Talk About *Structure*

Three different basic types of structure for your internet department:
- ISM who handles leads from beginning to end, plus all online advertising, etc
- ISM who is completely hands off. Leads come in but the salespeople work the leads. Sometimes this ISM has people directly under him for whom he’s responsible
- ISM who handles incoming emails and sets appointments with them, then hands off appointments to salespeople
Each of these structures for your processes and your department have their pros and cons. Your end result needs to be defined and clearly outlined from the beginning of forming your internet department, so that you will know which structure you will utilize.
Note: these are basic structures, not mentioning structures which include a BDC/call center.
